1. What data do we collect?

• Personal data: name, address, e-mail address, telephone number.
• Order data: products, order quantities, order history.
• Payment data: payment method, transaction references (via secure payment providers).
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser information.
• Marketing data: preferences, interactions with advertisements.

2. Why do we process data?

• To process and deliver your order.
• For customer service and communication.
• To improve our website and services.
• For marketing purposes (with consent).
• For legal obligations, such as record-keeping.

3. Legal basis for processing

• Performance of a contract: for orders and delivery.
• Consent: for marketing cookies.
• Legitimate interest: improvement of services and security.
• Legal obligation: tax and administrative retention requirements.

4. Sharing data with third parties

We share data exclusively with third parties that are necessary for our services:

• Payment providers (e.g. iDEAL, PayPal, Klarna).
• Shipping partners (e.g. PostNL, DHL, DPD, GLS).
• IT and hosting partners.
• Analytics partners: Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. Both are loaded via our Google Tag Manager container and only after you have given consent for analytical cookies. In doing so, Microsoft Clarity captures session recordings: clicks, scrolling and mouse movements on the pages you visit.
• Advertising and remarketing partners: we do not currently use these. Should this change, we will name them here before they are put into operation.

We conclude data processing agreements with these parties to protect your data.

5. Data transfers outside the EU

Some partners process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). We ensure that transfers comply with the GDPR by means of Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary measures.

For dropshipping activities, we share personal data (name, address, e-mail, telephone for delivery and track & trace) with suppliers outside the EEA, with appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the EU.

6. Retention periods

• Order and payment data: 7 years (tax retention obligation).
• Customer accounts: as long as active, or a maximum of 2 years after last use.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. You can withdraw your consent for future processing. Submit requests via info@ridgefrontgear.nl. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Data security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss or unlawful processing, including SSL encryption, access controls and encryption.

9. Complaints

Contact us regarding complaints about data processing. You can also lodge a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (Dutch Data Protection Authority) via www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl
